Description
You will own reliability and delivery infrastructure for client and internal systems: CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, and safe release practices on AWS or Azure.
This hybrid role is based in Bakersfield with flexibility agreed with the team. You will partner with engineers to ship often, recover quickly when things break, and keep environments auditable and secure.
Requirements
- Solid experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar) and container-based deployments.
- Hands-on AWS or Azure: networking, IAM, compute, and managed services; Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or Pulumi).
- Monitoring and logging (e.g. CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana stack); participation in incidents and postmortems.
- Scripting (Bash, Python, or Go) and security-minded defaults for pipelines and secrets.
Salary
$110,000 – $145,000 USD per year, depending on experience. Hybrid (Bakersfield); package discussed with qualified candidates.
